Those Bundy's don't understand government and/or society in general!!! Anti-government, get welfare, takes over a preserve, wants a gun in jail, um? I mean, re: their morman magic underwear they had a point there---as jails are to accommodate religious beliefs/practices that are reasonable. They sorted that out. If they're acting as their own attorney, usually jails do give more time in law libraries for that; but if they have an attorney, then no. The frightening thing about them is that there are so many people who SUPPORT THEM and believe as they do! Go take over government property; bitch about the government--but happily get welfare from them; wave your guns around and hey, why not have them in jail?? SMDH

I honestly think if Trump weren't running for president, he'd be taking Bundy's side; it's likely his handlers are cautioning him against getting involved in this.

And yes, let me say I'd love to host a Peter Cooper weekend! It's midnight here, so I'm not able to answer at length right now, but thanks for giving me some lead time, and I'll see what I can get—we can have ads encompassing Peter Cooper's many inventions, for instance: glue, a washing machine, the Tom Thumb locomotive, and of course: Jell-O.

EXCELLENT for Peter Cooper's Weekend. Right now, if you notice on the calendar it just says Jello, as that's how we celebrated him in the past couple years.

What I'll do is, aside from adding that you're the guest host to the event calendar and to the scheduled post for the weekend event, is I'll add that aside from Jello, we'll be celebrating all of his inventions. Perhaps, if I may suggest it, you could have a scheduled post after mine saying what all Peter Cooper invented? My post will be for Thursday at noon before the event, just briefly announcing it. I would let you, of course, explain it further as guest host. I tried to have all my scheduled posts for events be at noon, unless an event was starting the next day and then that post was scheduled for 4:16.

Well, I admit to being a bad mod for a few weeks being delayed with our event calendar. I was trying to organize a convention and that was just insanity, so um, I'm no longer doing that! :) But I'm trying to make up for that having all event notices scheduled (201 so far) and figuring out ways to include community members, as I've wanted to do that for some time but could never figure out how.

Would Trump listen to handlers? Open carry in jail, I mean, I just can't even begin to imagine how someone could rationalize that!! But I'm applying logic and common sense and um, they're in short shrift with some people!
