So how do I lock this thing?

I haven't posted in a while because truthfully I'm hesitant to post anything anymore that can be viewed by any passing pair of eyes; a post I made last summer of Tuli Kupferberg's memorial drew me some criticism from an anonymous viewer, and although I should welcome constructive criticism, the post was apparently hurtful to some people and I'd like to avoid that.

I'm not finding any info about how to change one's journal settings, but will continue looking.

you can set it at the bottom of the page, when you post.

its has settings for everybody, friends, and private.

Thanks; I wasn't aware of that, but I know there are lots of journals that are "friends only."
