Funeral tomorrow

franklanguageI have to go to Connecticut tomorrow for my grandmother's funeral. She's my last grandparent, and lived to be 100 and change. She died last week and I'm freaking out right now about what I'm going to wear and charging my Kindle so I have something to read on the train there. I have to get up at the ungodly hour of 6 AM so I can get there for the 10 AM service.
Of course I'll post pictures when I come back. It's going to be bizarre seeing people I haven't seen in years and years—including my cousin Sara who lives right uptown from me and I haven't seen in over 10 years. (Since her wedding at the Boathouse in Central Park, to be exact.) My mother didn't even tell me; she has dementia and thought she had told me. I found out in an e-mail forwarded from my sister.
This reunion should do me for another ten years.
