Bizarre! The book that is on my desk was lying open to page 123. Do code statements count as sentences? If so, the next 3 after the fifth are if (BIO_do_connect(conn) <= 0) int_error("Error connecting to remote machine"); if (!(ssl = SSL_new(ctx))) int_error("Error creating an SSL context"); SSL_set_bio(ssl, conn, conn);; otherwise, the relevant passage is: The only other point of interest is the error checking performed.
