We got dumped on today; fortunately it was snow—not rain—but still walking in snow all day is like walking on a sandy beach—great for your calf muscles, but you end up sore.




This is the virgin snowfall on my roof; big dogs generally like snow, but my little Aussie terrier is no fan of it.




I'm just glad I didn't have to shovel!


(I know if I had a bigger flist, someone would complain and ask me to cut it…what the hell.)

My big dog definitely loves the snow. He likes to jump through it, and bury his face in piles of it. And, he loves to chase snowballs that we throw. He's like, insanely crazy about snowballs.

I don't envy you; our snow has been melting the last few days, and that's just the way I like it (although my back yard still looks like the unshoveled portion of that sidewalk in your picture, still way too much). The sooner spring gets here, the better.
