Came home at midday today to read that my Twitter account has been locked.

"We've temporarily limited some of your account features

While in this state, you can still browse Twitter, but you’re limited to only sending Direct Messages to your followers — no Tweets, Retweets, Fleets, follows, or likes. Your account will be restored to full functionality in:

11 hours and 48 minutes."

Oh well.

And if I keep doing it—or worse—I may have my account terminated. You win some, you lose some.

I've still got six days left on my latest Facebook jail sentence. The sentence was 30 days. It was something fucking stupid, too. I've noticed that I get hit far more frequently with such things for much MUCH smaller infractions than Alex, who can cuss and insult people and be a total asshole without getting hit by the system. I got my 30 day sentence for calling a bigot a bigot. Literally just that, no cussing, no threats, just "you're a bigot."

Meanwhile Alex had to tell someone "Fuck off and die" to get 7 days. Even he's noticed how sexist the system is, holding me (a woman) to a much higher standard than him (NB presenting as male).

Funny thing, he was trying for a couple weeks to see how far he could push the boundaries before being punished for it, and then gave up for a couple days before slipping up with the "fuck off and die" comment. Which he tried to immediately delete, but the algorithm was too fast for him.

I have never regretted being forced out of FB—never wished I was still there.
