New Year's Eve with TimesUP!
Jan. 1st, 2011 11:35 pmFor New Year's Eve, there was a party at Belvedere Castle in Central Park. It was hosted by Time'sUP!, the environmental organization that knows how to par-tay!

There was a wide range of ages represented there; there were both people who had ridden up with the New Year's Eve Ride, and people who had walked there with their dogs. The fireworks were spectacular.

I met a golden retriever named Pixie, and we clicked immediately—goldens are that way.

And because everyone was out tonight and there were cops everywhere, there was at least an illusion of safety. All in all, it was a great night; we'll do it again next year.
